Stochastics in Julia

| 162 words | 1 min

I just published my final project for my Applied Stochastics Course at Cal Poly. There are more details in the readme, but essentially I attempted to survey some Julia methods to perform analyses and such of various Stochastic Process materials. The topics were selected to match some of the course work over the term, and R code is presented from the textbook we used and compared against some Julia code I wrote. Its nothing fancy, but I didn’t see much point in keeping it private, so ta-da.

Also, I need to write more about Linux later ‘cause a lot has changed–I’m using NixOS with GNOME (only because Plasma was misbehaving and I didn’t want to figure out why.) There’s a pretty steep learning curve but the promise of a declarative OS is too tempting, so I’m all in. I’ll probably post when my setup is somewhat passable; its super hacky right now which is why its private at the time of posting.
